
Also, many soundcards have more than one output interface. Many PC's will output to HDMI by default. When using with a PC or laptop as a SOURCE, make sure audio output in the computer settings is selected to be the optical out (not HDMI). Standby mode still outputs a signal to the switch. Some audio devices will default to standby mode when turned off. If the current channel is in standby but not off, the switch will stay on the current channel.



If the current channel is switched off, the switch will scan for the next available active channel. In auto mode, the switch will scan for a active channel. To switch back to auto mode, push the select button until "AUTO" is selected and the blue light indicator will light up. Once you push the "SELECT" button to change channel it will switch to manual mode (Blue light off) and auto mode will no longer be active.
